The price of meat keeps rising and I watch for discounts on Freeze dried meat. This is wonderful for my emergency storage. It can be added to pasta dishes and so many recipes to “stretch” a meal. Since FD meet does not require refrigeration, it’s perfect for a storm/power outage when I can use my camp stove.

I have taco shells and taco seasoning in a ziplock bags along with the cans of ground beef. We add a can of tomato soup to the meat and it tastes awesome. It’s hard to tell the difference in taste.
