Many customers use ReadyWise meals for weeknight dinners, camping, and travel. Our Simple Kitchen line includes snacks and fruit mixes perfect for daily use.

Serving counts vary by kit type. Our smaller kits are designed for 72 hours, while multi-week and long-term kits offer hundreds of servings—perfect for extended preparedness.

This depends on where you live. ReadyWise products are made of both freeze-dried and dehydrated components and are affected by temperature, moisture, oxygen and light. Optimal storage conditions for our foods are in cool, dry places.

On average, ReadyWise entrées require 1 cup of water.  Breakfast options generally require less water to prepare.  Many people enjoy our fruits and vegetables without adding any water. 

Hot water speeds up the process of reconstitution. ReadyWise foods will be ready to eat more quickly when hot water is used. However, many of the foods can be re-hydrated and ready to eat with any temperature of water. 

ReadyWise meals have a shelf life of up to 25 years, depending on storage conditions and product type. Our packaging and preservation methods are designed for long-term reliability, ensuring your supply is ready when you need it.

Keep your supply in a cool, dry place (50–70°F), away from sunlight and humidity. Avoid placing buckets or pouches directly on concrete. Proper storage extends freshness and nutritional value.

Every product is produced under SQF-certified facilities, which means every step—from sourcing to packaging—meets international safety standards. Batch testing, traceability, and quality audits guarantee product integrity.

Our meals are sealed in multilayer Metallyte™ pouches with oxygen absorbers and nitrogen flushing to lock in freshness. Long-term kits are stored in heavy-duty buckets or #10 cans to withstand time and conditions. 

ReadyWise prioritizes natural, high-quality ingredients. Many items are certified non-GMO and organic. We use only minimal, food-safe preservatives to preserve nutrition and taste.

Yes— ReadyWise meals have a shelf life of up to 25 years if sealed and stored properly. ReadyWise food maintains flavor and texture throughout its shelf life. If the packaging is compromised or damaged, contact Customer Support before consuming.
