My order arrived in a timely manner, I had bought Chicken Noodle Soup.
I have not tried this yet, because it is for an emergency.
But I am sure it is delicious, like everything else will when the time comes.

The chicken and wild rice soup had a very good flavor, however, had to cook for much longer time to get the chicken to soften. It makes a lot and was an excellent price $5. I would put the contents in a large bowl, remove the two moisture desiccants, mix, and measure out how much you wish to make. Store extra mix in an airtight container with instructions.

The Garden Vegetable Soup, was delicious 😋.
Yes I finally tried something, and I like it.
Now I can purchase more of the Garden Vegetable Soup, in larger quantities.🤗
I definitely recommend ReadyWise, food and gear.
Simple to fix. Bring 1 gallon of water to a boil and and add contents , boil for 5 minutes and I had delicious French onion soup. I added shredded Mozzarella cheese to each bowl before serving.
The order took longer than I expected to arrive and, there was no tracking. The packaging was secure and intact. I tried one of the soups so far and the taste is amazing!
The broccoli soup was easy to make and it sure did make a lot (1 gallon). It tasted okay, but we did add quite a bit of salt to it so it tasted better and it was also pretty thin. I wonder if we incorporated milk or added cheese if it would have made it a little richer/thicker. So, if you are planning to save some for a rainy day or prepping type situation be sure to set aside some salt or other seasonings. I am glad we tried the soup and we can be better prepared for using our food that was set aside.
If you need a quick meal this was
The soup mixes are great for adding freeze dried meat, some veggies, and some pasta or rice. The water gets absorbed and it thickens up, then bake and it’s a different flavored casserole each time. I’m not a big soup person but these were such a great deal that I bought a bunch and have found new ways to use them.
Used half a package today to add to my homemade clam chowder. Sauteed some bacon cubes, onion, celery, potato chunks, garlic, Italian herbs and chili flakes, then added 10 cups of water, some powdered chicken bouillon and after the potatoes were soft I added 1/2 bag of the veggies and powder that had settled below them. Boiled a bit, then added few cans of clams with a few cups of half and half and simmered till warm. Very yummy. Seemed to add to the depth of flavor.
The chicken is very small and a little tough. The gumbo taste was present though a little on the bitter side. I added some smoke turkey sausage and a little more tomato sauce and it came out really good. Over all taste and quantity is well worth the price. Highly recommended.
I bought the several kinds of soup not for emergency but practicality. I am 80 and cook for 2 or for many(potlucks) so a hood soup starter is very handy. When it is just for 2 a couple containers go in the freezer for another time. Naturally it is different every time but we haven't had a bad one yet.
This is not only a soup, it's a full meal. It gives suggestions for "add ins" which are excellent. I got them for a Christmas gift and decided to order more and our Daughter ordered a batch for us so now we have 24 of the 32 pkgs on the shelf. The first 8 went within 3 weeks. Now we have been sharing with friends and giving a few away as birthday gifts. Well worth a try.
Used the minestrone package as a base. Added 12 oz of frozen veggies to it. Very good.
Used leftovers for breakfast. Added 1 pkg of ramen noodles (leave out spice pkg). Good hot b=fast.
Americans favorite soups, well 1 of them anyway, truly delicious!!! Of course as with anything, I always season or shall I say, pump up the jam, with all soups of these kinds. Great, easy, pretty quick too. Totally worth it!!!
Readywise food has always been great. We eat the soups all the time, we don't wait for an emergency to open a package, boil some water and dig in to a great meal.
Thank you for offering the Soup Sample Pack. Great way to get the variety and price comparable to the grocery store mixes. Just what I needed to send out to my son who's on an island off of Alaska that needed some homestyle feel meals!
I bought the variety pack from Amazon and made the minestrone tonight. I found it to be really bland. I didn’t want to ad salt because I’m trying to watch my sodium but if I ever made it again, I’d ad tomato paste and a few other things for flavor. It has lots of pasta but I think it could use more beans.
I have only tried three of them. Okay as a base for soup but not good on its own. Had to add a lot to make it taste good and be filling. Probably won’t buy these again. Not packaged for long term storage. Expiration in 2 years.
