Customer photo review of Apples, Cookies & Granola Snack - Freeze-Dried 6 Pack | ReadyWise

My order arrived in a timely manner, I had bought Vegetables Beef Soup. I have not tried this yet, because it is for an emergency. But I am sure it is delicious, like everything else will when the time comes. I definitely recommend ReadyWise for all your supplies. Customer service is excellent!

The taste wasn't that great. I was hoping for more flavor. You cannot taste the coconut and the blue berries are very bland. I wonder not get again.

Customer photo review of Open Range Cheesy Potato Soup

I have now tried out a 3 different types from this company. This one has been the best so far. The other 2 types were pretty horrible... The breakfast skillet and the bean soap. I actually throw the bean soup out because it was so bad. This one taste like cheesy potato scallops, but even after letting it set 20 minutes pass that time, the potatoes still were not done. The flavor was ok. This would not be worth having for the only dish when camping. Its more like a side dish them a main dinner.

Customer photo review of Early Dawn Breakfast Skillet

I had hope that this would be good. After buying 14 of them because they were on sale I found out why they were on sale. At first when opening them up, they looked pretty good. After adding the 2 cups of water and letting it soak 15 minutes longer, it was a suop. It tasted extremely like onions and peppers. Very little egg lots of potatoes. I would not buy it again.

Customer photo review of Basecamp Four Bean & Vegetable Soup

4 Stars. Cooked for 15 minutes in a warming bag from another company. Helped maintain the heat a LOT. Much better than letting the bag stand on the counter. I ate half and put the other half in the refrigerator for my wife. Very flavorful. Gourmet level according to my wife. Much better than other rehydrate bean soups she has had in the past. All the water was absorbed. In fact, as the soup cooled, the corn starch did its thing and thickened the soup so much I had to pour some water in it to make it soup again. Spicy. I am not one that likes a lot of spice but this is good. The after taste let you know you've just had some spice but it wasn't overwhelming for me. However, it is too spicy for my wife. She suggests that next time we add potatoes to absorb some of the spice and more water as well. The beans were close enough to done to eat. The vegetables were crunchy. I would have zapped the the soup in the microwave but I was very hungry and ate the food. My wife added 1/2 cup of water to her portion of the meal and microwaved it for 2 minutes. Her beans and vegetables were done. Will buy again.

Customer photo review of Trailhead Noodles & Beef

Noodles and Beef. 3.5 Stars. Adding heavy cream + the microwave should push it to a 4 Stars. Cooked per directions. After 12 minutes Beef hard, some of the noodles were stuck together, mushy like there was flour in the bag. Sause nice and thick. Cooked 3 more minutes. Beef better. Not good enough. Added 1/2 cup water and microwave 1 minute. Beef good enough. Still had mushy noodles. Sauce a bit watery. Tasted a bit flat. Added some black pepper and it hit the spot.

Trailhead Noodles & Beef

Readywise is most definitely the best tasting backpacking meals I have tried, and they are also less expensive than other brands.

Campfire Classics Pack - 9 Meals + Drink

I received my different entree packets. I've eaten these entree packets in the past; But I'm saving them as part of a preparedness plan for emergencies. I am sure will be tasty when my friends and I eat them.

Trailhead Noodles & Beef

The potatoes were cut small enough but to me they never got soft like they should even with extra time

Open Range Cheesy Potato Soup

This cereal was great. Perfect texture, just the right sweetness. I ate the whole thing!

Appalachian Apple Cinnamon Cereal

Great product! We tried some of this after a busy day and loved it. It was easy to prepare. Thanks!

Trailhead Noodles & Beef

This one I didn't like at all the coconut flavor made the whole thing taste like soap. I'd remove the coconut and maybe make it apple blueberry. Cause when I just got some blueberry parts it was ok.
